About Us

Preservation of cultural heritage is at the heart of our company.  Mareva Conservation (formerly known as V A Conservation) was established in 2003 by Veronika Vlková (PACR Accredited Conservator-Restorer, Member of ICON) because of her passion for art, culture and her vision to preserve our wonderful cultural surroundings.

Our highly skilled and dedicated team of conservators and specialist has extensive experience in the conservation of Works of Art crafted in inorganic and organic materials with polychrome (painted), monochrome and gilded surfaces.

Conservation / Restoration

Mareva Conservation is committed to the highest standards of conservation, restoration, craft skills and material knowledge. This is upheld through continuous learning, conservation ethics and a deep understanding and appreciation of art and history.
Solutions often require challenging remedies; our team is able to provide innovative and unique approaches to resolve such challenges.

All projects undertaken regardless of size of specialist area, are supported by:

  • Preliminary survey
  • Analysis
  • Research
  • Assessment

This combination of research, skills and knowledge enforces a comprehensive understanding of each unique project and allows for the most appropriate conservation and restoration work to be undertaken.
