Wall Tablet to Richard Berens

Surface soiling was removed with dry and wet cleaning methods. Areas containing greasy surface deposits were swabbed with Acetone on cotton wool.  A revival solution was used to bring back the dark colour of the black 'marble'.  The missing inscription was in-painted.  A protective layer of Renaissance wax was applied on the clean and dry stone surface.
